We now stop at the grave of Christian Hasler.
Born: January 4, 1821, Switzerland.
Died: May 19, 1895
He was the son of Peter Hasler (1795-1874) and Elizabeth Kolb Hasler (1791-1862). They were both born in Bern, Switzerland and crossed the Atlantic in 1845 looking for a fresh start and a better life. They settled in Greene County, Indiana and were buried in Hasler Cemetery, Doans, Greene County, Indiana.
He had several siblings:

These are there children, as listed:

They had a few children:
Mary Isabelle Hasler Humerickhouse (1860-1896) - buried in Kentucky Ridge Cemetery, Doans, Greene County, Indiana
The info that I found states that Margaret, Henry and Elizabeth were Christian's children with his first wife Sarah, but the times don't really make sense. They were married in 1848 and the children were born 1851, 1852 and 1853, respectively, but he married his second wife in 1851. I am not really sure if they were the children of Sarah or of Margaret. One place also lists Jonas as being Sarah's son. By looking at death dates, this makes sense, but not with the dates of marriage. I have to think that the marriage date for his second wife is wrong.
