Today's Walk Through the Tombstones is at Frye Cemetery, located just outside of the Morgan-Monroe State Forest on North Low Gap Road. It is also called the Taylor Cemetery and the McGown Cemetery.

She was the daughter of J. Adkins (?-?) and A. E. Adkins (?-?). I am not sure where they are buried. There are other members of the Adkins family buried in this cemetery, though I can't find reference to any of them being her family.
There is a hand with the forefinger pointing up and the words "Gone Home" carved above it.

He married Manecy Hicks Baker (1833-1931) on August 30, 1853 in Morgan County, Indiana. She is buried in New South Park Cemetery, Morgan County, Indiana.

"Raneous Baker, living south of town on Indian Creek, died Tuesday night, after an illness of 20 hours, of congestion of the stomach and bowels. Mr. Baker was one of the most reliable and upright citizens of the county, faithful in discharge of all his contracts, honest in all his dealing, his life was one of uncommon integrity. He held a life insurance policy in the Mutual Protection Association of the Patrons of Husbandry, of Columbus, Ohio."

There is a hand with the forefinger pointing up carved into the top of his grave. This means that he has gone home.
There was a flag next to his grave when we were there. He may have been a Civil War Veteran that died in the beginning of the war, but I am not sure.

His father was Daniel Runnells (?-?), though his last name has also been listed as Reynolds. It seems at that time period it was acceptable to use either spelling for the last name. I am not sure as to where he is buried. I also haven't found mention of his mother's name or where she is buried.
He served in the Civil War in the 23rd Indiana Infantry, Company E.
He was married to Hannah Laticia Townsend Runnells (1834-1907). She is buried at Taylor Cemetery near him.
They had at least seven children together:

We now come to the grave of John C. Wetherby.
Born: July 2, 1880
Died: November 29, 1899
I have no information as to his family.
He served in the United States Army in the 4th US Infantry, Company L in the Philippines where he died. He was a Private and was awarded the Philippine Insurrection Congressional Medal of Honor on November 20, 1899. He died nine days later.
His citation states, "While carrying important orders on the battlefield, was desperately wounded and, being unable to walk, crawled far enough to deliver his orders."

These stones were all too far worn to read. I believe that the one to the right is for Louisa, but I can't be positive. The one below is for a McGowen, but I can't make it out.
