Today's Walk Through the Tombstones is at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Monroe County, Indiana. It is located off of South Chapel Hill Road in Polk Township, just north of the Lawrence/Monroe County line.
UPDATE: (added 12/19/2016) There is a nice history of the church at the Monroe County History Center. These records date the community to about 1856 when David Miller and John Smith purchased the land. John's wife, Betsy Miller Cracraft took over operation of the General Store and the Post Office when her husband went off to fight in the Civil War. According to the records, she is the one who donated land for the cemetery. The original log house church was Methodist and built on property just north of the Y where the roads come together. The second church, pictured above, was built around 1907 built on land donated by Silas and Sarah Adams. This church was also Methodist, but changed to Pentecost in the 1960s. At one point, the church was used as a school because the "Old Red School" burnt down. That was around 1923-24.
