Goshen Church Cemetery

Today's Walk Through the Tombstones is at Goshen Church Cemetery in Spearsville, Brown County, Indiana.

We visited this cemetery on October 09, 2015.  It is located in Brown County on Gatesville Road.  It is a nice cemetery that is still in use and very well taken care of.  The oldest graves are near the church itself.  There are just under 270 interments, though that probably changes regularly as there is a large area near the back of the fence that has yet to be used.  I am not sure when this cemetery, or church, were established.

Valerie, thank you so much! I am thrilled that you shared my blog with the Brown County Cemetery Preservation Society! My daughter and I work with the Monroe County Cemetery Committee, so being able to be part of another county, as well, is fantastic.
